The Department of Physical Sciences, Northwestern State University of Louisiana seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Physics position beginning August 7, 2023. The successful candidate must have an earned M.S. or Ph.D. (doctorate preferred) in Physics or related field and must be able to teach upper-level physics courses to biology and physical science majors, introductory physics lecture and lab courses, and physical science courses to non-science majors.  Preference will be given to applicants with prior college-level teaching experience.
