The Mount Holyoke College Physics Department seeks a Visiting Lecturer to begin in Fall 2024, for a one year appointment. We are searching broadly for candidates with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching physics and a passion for engaging a diverse population of undergraduate students. The position is a 3/2 teaching load. Areas of study/specialization are open, with the expectation that successful candidates can teach any introductory physics course, and some upper division courses.  The Physics Department at Mount Holyoke is small but thriving. Six faculty members, with support from the physics technician and department coordinator, support coursework and activities for all levels of physics students
