Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics (Atmospheric Science/Meteorology)
  The Department of Physics and Astronomy (physics.cofc.edu) at the College of Charleston has a Visiting Assistant Professor position available for the 2023-24 academic year. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics, astrophysics, atmospheric science, meteorology, or a related field and must be able to accept legal employment in the United States by August 16, 2023. Renewal of this position is contingent upon satisfactory performance evaluations and subject to availability of funds. The teaching load is 12 contact hours per week through a combination of lectures and labs. In addition to teaching introductory physics courses, the ideal candidate would be able to teach synoptic meteorology and/or mentor student research projects in atmospheric science.
