Visiting Instructor
The Department of Physics, Astronomy and Materials Science at Missouri State University, located in Springfield, Missouri, seeks applications for a non-tenure-track Visitor Instructor position. This is a one year appointment only. The successful candidate in this position will teach introductory physics courses for science and non-science majors in the Department of Physics, Astronomy and Materials Science. Courses taught may include introductory astronomy, depending upon the education and experience of the faculty member. Participation in departmental, college and university committees and advising physics majors will also be required. The position requires an M.S. degree in physics, or an M.S. degree in another field with at least 18 credit hours of graduate-level coursework in physic
