Visiting Assistant Professor in Physics & Astronomy
The Department of Physics and Astronomy of Dickinson College invites applications for a one-year visiting position beginning July 2021. Dickinson College is a highly selective four-year, independent liberal arts college with 2300 students.  It is located 20 minutes west of Harrisburg and is a two-hour drive from Baltimore, Washington DC and Philadelphia. The Department is housed in a state-of-the-art building equipped with smart classrooms, research labs, a machine shop, a planetarium, and an observatory. The physics major features a project-centered, hands-on curriculum, and the Department graduates an average of ten majors per year. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics (or a related field) and will be expected to teach primarily introductory physics and/or astronomy c
