Materials Scientist - Metallography/Fractography

We have an opening for a materials scientist with experience in metallography and/or fractography. You will perform a full range of moderate to complex research in the area of metallography, sample preparation, microscopy, and materials characterization for a wide variety of projects at LLNL, including working with hazardous materials, e.g., radioactive materials, beryllium and lead. This position is in the Metallurgy and Advanced Microscopy Group in the Materials Science Division (MSD). This position will be filled at either level based on knowledge and related experience as assessed by the hiring team.
