The Department of Physics at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, announces an entry-level tenure-track position starting on August 2021.  The Department, with 18 full-time faculty members, offers B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physics and has externally funded research programs in several fields.  A Ph.D. program is currently under development. We request applications of candidates in: Experimental/Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics; Experimental/Computational High Energy Physics; Astrophysics/Astronomy/Planetary Sciences;  Medical Physics; Physics Education; Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology.
