Research Field
The Center for Quantum Computing (tentative) is a new research center to be launched in April 2021. In the center, we will study quantum information theory, develop techniques for quantum control and measurement, build quantum computing hardware and software, and explore novel quantum technologies. We will promote the progress of quantum information science and contribute to society through the application of quantum technologies.
Our unit pursues the realization of scalable superconducting quantum computers and conducts research and development of three-dimensional integration of superconducting circuits, including quantum chips and peripheral circuits. We extend the design method of a quantum chip to that of the system level, ensuring the system having scalability and integrability.
