What will I get?
10 weeks of mentored research experience in some of the best nonlinear dynamics labs
Travel to UMD and back home
Housing at UMD for the summer (with ~9 other TREND students)
$4,800 stipend + $600 food allowance
$500 for travel after the summer to present your research at a conference
Local tours (e.g.: Goddard Space Flight Center)
Practice and mentoring with oral, visual, written and multimedia communication skills

The Institute for Research in Electronics and Applied Physics (IREAP) is a joint institute of the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences and the A. James Clark School of Engineering.
