The Physics Department at Missouri University of Science & Technology (Missouri S&T) invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of experimental condensed matter physics to begin in August 2020. Particular consideration will be given to candidates working in areas that complement existing experimental and theoretical research programs, particularly those working in the field of low-temperature physics. Existing equipment available for the successful candidate includes a dilution refrigerator and facilities for sputter deposition, FIB nanofabrication, and e-beam lithography. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Physics or an equivalent degree and have demonstrated outstanding research accomplishments, a commitment to excellence in teaching at all levels, and excellent communications skills.
