Physics: High Energy, Physics: Particle, Physics: Theoretical
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Utah invites applications for a tenure-track position in theoretical high energy physics, broadly defined. The anticipated start date is July/August 2020. Senior appointments may also be considered.
Qualified applicants in all areas of theoretical high energy physics are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates would complement our existing strengths in high energy phenomenology, dark matter physics, theoretical particle astrophysics and cosmology, lattice gauge theory, and field theory. They would also show promise as effective educators, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive environment both within in the department and institution.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Physics/Astronomy or a closely related field, a demonstrated record of accomplishment and innovation, and dedication to teaching and mentoring.
