If so, the Education and Public Outreach (E/PO) group at Sonoma State University (SSU) is seeking an expert in instructional technology. E/PO currently supports multi-wavelength education programs for NASA through NASA's Universe of Learning, the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope and the Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory. Additionally, funded by a new five-year grant from the US Department of Education, E/PO develops an integrated hands-on experiment-based curriculum for high school students that aligns with the Next Generation Science Standards. We are looking for an individual with:
A bachelor's degree preferably in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related technical fields, or similar certified coursework in applicable fields of study with relevant equivalent training and experience.
Experience and/or classes in astronomy and telescope operations is highly desired.
