The Physics Department at California State University – East Bay, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position beginning August 2020. Faculty teach a full range of undergraduate physics courses for both majors and non-majors.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physics or Astrophysics and a strong commitment to teaching. The successful candidate will have a clear plan for an active research program involving undergraduate physics majors and contribute to the university’s science education and outreach efforts.
Candidates working in experimental atomic physics or astrophysics are especially encouraged to apply, although all areas of specialization will be considered. Review of applications will begin October 1, 2019, and the position will remain open until filled.
