The Department of Physics (https://sciences.ucf.edu/physics/) at the University of Central Florida seeks to fill a visiting professor position for the 2019–2020 academy year (Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 terms). The start day is August 8, 2019. We are looking for candidates with experience in teaching large-enrollment undergraduate courses in physics, physical science, and astronomy. The position is non-tenured and non renewable. The anticipated load is 3 courses per semester. Salary and benefits are competitive. Opportunities for engaging in curriculum development, research, and outreach activities are available.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Physics, Astronomy, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
