The Physics Department at Stonehill College invites applicants for a teaching Fellow for the upcoming Fall semester. This person would join a department of three full-time faculty with a wide range of disciplinary expertise and a commitment to fostering diversity among faculty and students. We seek enthusiastic applicants who are committed to excellence in teaching undergraduates and who have a demonstrated awareness of the importance of diversity in education. While this is a one year position, there is an opportunity for a permanent position in the next academic year barring the department budget.

This is a full-time academic year position to teach two sections of introductory physics with a lab component. Each section includes three hours of lecture and 1.5 hours of lab/recitation time per week. The courses are Physics I & II, and they include mechanics, electromagnetism and basic optics.
Candidates must hold a higher degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in physics (or related discipline) and have undergraduate teaching experience.
Will consider ABD graduate students with strong teaching experience.
