The University of Washington Bothell (UWB) seeks a dynamic educator to join the fast-growing Physical Sciences Division of the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The University of Washington, Bothell has a new undergraduate degree in physics and is seeking to build strength in this program. Faculty in the Division of Physical Sciences have knowledge of modern pedagogic methodologies; ability to address questions of diversity, equity and inclusion in courses; and expertise in working with diverse student populations. We are seeking candidates to join our faculty on a part-time basis (50% - 100%) for a 9-month service period and with opportunities to teach during the summer. Appointment in these positions may be for multiple years (1-5 years). The start date is September 16, 2019.
