Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in topological condensed-matter theory group in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Preference will be given to candidates with strong experience in spintronics, quantum magnetism, quantum materials, and non-equilibrium transport phenomena. The research topics include the dynamics of topological solitons (domain walls, skyrmions, etc), fermionic and bosonic topological phases, and charge/spin/heat transport through unconventional superconductors, to name a few. The position is expected to begin in Fall 2019, although this is flexible. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in physics or closely related fields before the beginning of the position.
