The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of North Texas (UNT) is seeking candidates for one non-tenure track faculty position at the Senior Lecturer level.
The primary responsibility is teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level focusing on introductory courses spanning all programs in Computer Science and Engineering and advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Engineering, including but not limited to Computer Organization, Embedded Systems Design, Reconfigurable Logic, Introduction to Computer Architecture and also supervising senior design projects. Additional expectations include participating in departmental activities, assisting with ABET accreditation, and providing advising and career guidance to undergraduate students.
Candidates should have demonstrated the potential to excel in teaching in one or more of these areas. Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate in computer science, computer engineering or a closely related field, and 4 years of teaching experience at the university level.
