Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a 12-month, non-tenure track, collateral instructor to begin on January 1, 2019. A Ph.D. or M.S. in Physics and a serious commitment to teach at the undergraduate level is required. Candidates must have demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU. Duties will include setting up weekly experiments for six different introductory physics courses and supervising teaching assistants. We seek someone who will enhance student learning in our laboratories by assisting in the design of experiments and the revision of laboratory manuals.
