Job description A postdoctoral position is available in the Chemical Kinetics and Laser Sensors Laboratory at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Candidates with experience in one or more of the following research areas are encouraged to apply:
The work will be carried out collaboratively with Politecnico di Milano, and the post-doctoral fellow will be expected to spend some time in Milan as well. Postdoctoral Fellowship is initially limited to one year. Depending on the performance, extension up to three years is possible.
Qualifications Successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in a related field with experience in one or more of the aforementioned areas of research.

About The Chemical Kinetics and Laser Sensors Laboratory (http://kinetics.kaust.edu.sa) carries out research in the areas of energy, chemical kinetics, spectroscopyand laser diagnostics. We focus on the development of advanced experimental techniques and applythese to understand fundamental processes in traditional and renewable energy-conversion devices. Our group develops laser-based sensors for applications to chemistry, environmental-monitoring and biomedical.
