The Physics Department at Sogang University in Korea invites applicants for a postdoctoral position in experimental condensed matter physics, focusing on optical (nonlinear optical) characterization of emerging materials such as 1) 2D transition metal dichalcogenides and their heterostructures, 2) organic-inorganic hybrid halide perovskites, and 3) nonlinear optical chalcogenides. Candidate must have extensive experience in optics, spectroscopy, nonlinear optical materials, semiconductors, and excellent communication skills. A Ph.D. in physics, optical engineering, materials science, chemistry, or a closely related field is required.
