The Department of Physics at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer starting in the Fall 2018. Teaching possibilities will include undergraduate and graduate level courses in astronomy and physics. We seek an energetic individual who is eager to teach undergraduates, including non-physics majors, to explore and develop new teaching methods and technologies. Although not required, individuals with an interest in developing new courses in astronomy and astrophysics and further expanding astronomy curriculum, are encouraged to apply. Requirements: A PhD in physics or astronomy is required and postdoctoral research experience is preferred. Previous experience teaching undergraduate classes, in particular introductory astronomy and introductory calculus and algebra based physics, is also strongly desired.
