PHYSICS DEPARTMENT, FULL-TIME LECTURER. The Physics Department in the College of Science and Mathematics at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking to hire one or more Full-Time Lecturers for academic year 2018-2019 (with possible extension) to begin September 13, 2018. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Primary duties and responsibilities are to teach undergraduate physics (and possibly astronomy) lecture and lab courses. A Ph.D. in physics or astronomy (or a closely related field with a strong physics background) is required. All requirements for the Ph.D. must be completed before September 13, 2018. Preference will be given to candidates with evidence of (or potential for) excellence in teaching. Candidates in all stages of their career are encouraged to apply.
