Teaching in the Extended Degree Programme Physics module in collaboration with a team responsible for the Extended Degree Programme in the Faculty of Science, Agriscience and Engineering;
Continuous development of the curriculum for appropriate integration with mainstream activities;
Involvement with the first-year Physics modules.
MSc qualification in Physical Sciences or Physical Sciences Education.
PhD qualification in Physical Sciences or Physical Sciences Education;
Junior Lecturer and Lecturer:
Tertiary education qualification in Physics;
A good understanding of the challenges of teaching and instructing Physics;
Previous involvement with undergraduate teaching and training;
Proven record of teaching experience in Physical Sciences;
Thorough understanding of network technology and computer architecture;
Good computer skills;
The ability to instruct students in need of additional support;
Good communication skills;
The ability to present lectures in both Afrikaans and English.
Knowledge of the school syllabus in Physical Science;
Continuous pursuit of excellence in teaching.
