Otterbein University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics position beginning August 2018. This is a full-time position for the 2018-19 academic year. This is a one-year position, although the position may become renewable and may be converted to a tenure-track position in future years. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in physics at the introductory and/or upper-year levels, depending on expertise and experience. Qualified candidates must hold a Ph.D. in physics or expect to receive one by the start date. The successful candidate will demonstrate a dedication to quality in undergraduate physics education. Specialization in experimental physics (AMO, condensed matter, biophysics, or similar) is desirable but not required.
