: The Office Management Assistant \(OMA\) will partner with two senior managers to efficiently run the day\-to\-day operations of their offices, support the operation of a 200\-person research center, and provide backup support to six other center OMAs and their managers and staff\. Daily office support activities for the senior managers include active calendar management, arranging frequent travel, meeting logistics, records management, purchase orders and records, financial tracking, telephone coverage, and visitor arrangements\. The OMA assists the senior managers in connecting with all levels of internal laboratory management and staff and key external customers and stakeholders\. The successful candidate will be proactive, well organized, discreet, and possess good communication skills\. The OMA will assist center managers with cross\-cutting tasks required to operate the center\. The OMA will maintain and curate center information resources using web\-based Sharepoint and Wiki\. The OMA will track and assist managers with problem\-solving for issues arising with center resources like office and lab space, safety and security plans, and facility projects\. The Chemical Sciences group focuses on basic research related to chemical physics and thermo\-fluid energy sciences\. Capabilities include state\-of\-the\-art experimental facilities for laser\-diagnostic measurements, emphasizing the highly resolved detection of chemical\-species concentrations, temperature, and velocity in reacting flows\. The work extends from studies of individual molecular collisions to investigations of systems that include hundreds of interacting chemical reactions\. The Combustion and Industrial Technologies group performs research for internal combustion engines, hydrogen and material science, and energy efficiency innovation\.
