Summary We are seeking an experienced and innovative Research and Development Chemist Lead to guide our team in developing and refining our core TENIX™ material family while pursuing new cutting-edge materials and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry team management, a proven track record of managing R&D projects, and the ability to drive innovation and collaboration within the team. The R&D Chemist Lead will play a pivotal role in advancing our company's product portfolio and contributing to its growth. Core responsibilities: - Provide a chemistry -driven view of all company operations - Plan and oversee R&D projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met. - Lead, manage, and mentor a team of chemists and researchers in the development of new products, formulations, and processes. - Drive innovation by staying up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging techniques in chemistry and related fields. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Applications, Operations, Production, and Cell-Development. - Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to guide decision-making and improve product formulations. - Develop and implement testing protocols, quality standards, and safety procedures to ensure product integrity and compliance. - Lead the evaluation and procurement of new laboratory equipment, technologies, and resources to enhance research capabilities. - Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve technical challenges and troubleshoot issues in product development. - Prepare and present comprehensive reports, including project updates, findings, and recommendations, to senior management on demand and at regular intervals.
