The Department of Physics at Norfolk State University invites applications for three tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. Specifically of interest are candidates with expertise in quantum optics, superconducting quantum circuits, and quantum materials and who will contribute to the development of a quantum engineering graduate program. Successful candidates will establish internationally recognized research programs, secure external funding, and contribute to the establishment of a graduate program in quantum engineering.  The appointments start in August 2025.
