Furnace Operator Job Duties:

• Prepare schedules, equipment, metal, and molds prior to furnace operation.
• Verify piece count, straightness, and flatness of parts before and after heat treatment.
• Load furnaces according to material type and quantity guidelines.
• Melt and pour alloys into molds following strict procedures and work instructions.
• Operate computer systems to log calibrations, production reports, and process control records.

Schedule: Day Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm

Pay:$26.33-$35/hr, depending on experience

Furnace Operator Requirements:

• At least 1 year Prior experience in a foundry environment.
• Ability to work in high-temperature environments and handle molten metal safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures.
• Comfortable working with heavy equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs.
