The ideal Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager candidate will have the following skill set:
An industry-leader in the specialty chemical Manufacturing space is seeking a talented individual to join their team as an EHS Manager at one of their key facilities. This Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager will contribute to on-site projects that will have a direct impact on the organization's growth. The candidate will play a critical role in leveraging their strong safety background to participate in projects at portfolio companies across various industries.
The ideal Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager candidate will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a similar technical field preferred; years of experience might be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of progressive Environmental Health & Safety Management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Expert in Process Safety Management (PSM).
- Experience in specialty chemical or similar hazardous material manufacturing environments.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and similar government/regulatory best practices and standards.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or similar certifications are a plus.
- LEAN/Six Sigma Certifications are a plus.
- Proven track record of participating in successful safety audits.
- Root-cause analysis experience.
