Position Summary and Purpose: Support Marketing and Sales to meet or exceed company goals while adhering to company policies and practices ensuring all orders are consistent with company terms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL:
  • Support Sales with accurate and timely CI product and competitive information
  • Analyze customer parts and applications to assist sales on machine sizing and required options
  • Strategize with Sales to maximize effectiveness of customer visits and sales calls
  • Assure CI demonstration machines are in proper working order to support sales and customers
  • Schedule, coordinate and host customer visits, video demonstrations and machine runoffs
  • Conduct safe and effective machine and software demonstrations during customer visits, video presentations and field sales calls
  • Assist engineering and application team in machine development and optimization projects
  • Provide pre and post-sales support in collaboration with the application team to help customers with optimizing their machine for production
  • Assist in developing product and sales materials for use by Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Service
  • Assist Product Manager in obtaining and analyzing internal and external market and competitive information
  • Collaborate with Product Manager, Engineering and Service to develop, enhance and test products to meet market needs
  • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge, product knowledge and professionalism to support CI sales and CI customers
  • Assist other departments as needed to maximize customer satisfaction

  • Adopt and promote lean practices in all activities, considering the elimination of wasteful resources for any goal other than the creation of value for the end customer
  • Travel is required for trade shows, sales and customer assistance

VALUED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
  • Participate in trade associations

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum two years related experience in sales, marketing, or manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
  • Extensive technical knowledge of CI products
  • Experience in machine tool applications or engineering

  • Strong customer orientation

  • Proficient in project management systems

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. This is a high-travel position!

Pay Range: $67,983 - $123,445 per year
