Google for Jobs
Connecting employers and talent in the industry just got much easier.

Google has officially tapped into the job search market with the launch of their very own job search engine, Google for Jobs. In a nutshell, job seekers who are looking for their next career opportunity can simply "Google it."

AVS fully supports Google's mission to help strengthen America's workforce and better connect employers and job seekers. As a leading employment-information resource, we are pleased to inform you that AVS Career Center has been fully integrated with Google's new job search feature and our partnership in this new initiative will deliver success for AVS members, job seekers and employers.

Why This is Important for Our Employers:

  • Jobs posted to AVS Career Center are automatically searchable through Google for Jobs, creating even greater exposure. The Google for Jobs application appears before Google's standard search results; prioritizing your positions over other employers, job boards and staffing agencies that do not have an established partnership with Google.
  • Provides employers with a new source of active and passive candidate traffic - a unique benefit of posting your open positions with AVS Career Center.
  • Alleviates the ongoing challenge of identifying the right candidates to fill open positions by increasing the reach of every job that you post with AVS Career Center.

The AVS Career Center has listings for the latest science and engineering jobs in specialized disciplines like applied physics, astrophysics, atomic and molecular physics, mechanical engineering, plasma physics, materials science and engineering, fluid mechanics and dynamics, optics and lasers, and electrical engineering plus teaching jobs for assistant, associate, and full professor roles.
