The Department of Physics and Engineering Physics at the University of Tulsa (https://engineering.utulsa.edu/academics/physics-and-engineering-physics/) invites applications for a visiting assistant professor positions for the academic year 2017-2018 with the possibility of renewal. A Ph.D. in physics or engineering physics and the ability to teaching at all levels of undergraduate physics is required. Priority will be given to candidates with an interest and experience teaching E&M and/or Statistical Physics. An interest in mentoring undergraduate research projects will be a plus.
The department, consisting of eight faculty, offers baccalaureate and master’s degrees in Physics and Engineering Physics and a doctoral degree in Physics.
