: We are seeking an innovative, multi\-disciplinary Mission Scientist to build and lead teams to develop signature models and phenomenology\-optimized sensing solutions for the Remote Sensing and Verification \(RSV\) business area\. On any given day, you may be called on to: + Lead the development of signature data collection and analysis efforts in support of critical national security challenges;+ Lead the development of complex, multi\-physics signature and sensor phenomenology models;+ Collaborate with systems and sensor engineers to optimize remote sensing concepts for target signatures and sensor phenomenologies;+ Lead the development of signature exploitation tools that refine remote sensor data into actionable intelligence products;+ Lead the development of presentations, simulations, white papers and proposals for internal and external customers;+ Represent Sandia by presenting technical results to the customer community\. Required: + Master's degree or Ph\.D\. with experience in Physics or a Science or Engineering discipline relevant to national security signatures and sensor phenomenology;+ Experience modeling multi\-physics signatures and sensor phenomenology using Matlab;+ Current US DOE security clearance and SCI clearance\.\.
